A thin, lightweight organic polymer film, Kapton provides excellent tensile strength, tear resistance and dimensional stability. This heater is ideal for applications requiring low out gassing in a vacuum, or resistance to radiation, fungus and chemicals. Kapton is also very resistant to solvents.
